Southwest Veterans' Business Resource Center, Inc. (SWVBRC), a non-profit corporation, was established by Albert R. Renteria on May 21, 2008 in honor of Memorial Day. Its doors opened on November 1, 2008 in honor of Veterans Day.

SWVBRC's focus is simple - "Welcoming home our men and women doesn't end after the crowd disperses, it MUST continue on for the life of the Veteran! They've served us, now we will serve them with programs that work so they reintegrate into society." SWVGRC accomplishes this in the following ways:

• Participating Veterans are required to make a Commitment to take part in 416 hours of Learning
• SWVBRC encourages a "Refuse to Fail" perspective by providing tools that help Veterans succeed
• A system of Mentoring and Networking is provided which Veterans become active participants in

SWVBRC's program is especially beneficial to service-disabled and homeless veterans. Eventually, the SWVBRC intends to have facilities in each state with a commitment to help eradicate veteran homelessness by 2035.
