Connecticut Children's Medical Center, a nationally recognized, 187-bed not-for-profit children's hospital which serves as the primary teaching facility for the University of Connecticut School of Medicine Department of Pediatrics, has an exciting opportunity to join The Division of Endocrinology. In this full-time clinical educator role, you will have the opportunity to provide care for children and young adult patients with endocrine disorders as well as to teach and participate in clinical research. - The Division of Endocrinology includes 8 pediatric endocrinologists, 3 pediatric endocrine fellows, 3 pediatric nurse practitioners, 5 diabetes educators (1 nurse and 4 RD's), clinical and research psychologist, an endocrine nurse, and a full-time social worker. - Very busy clinical practice, seeing approximately 11,000 visits annually. - US News & World Report has ranked Connecticut Children's Diabetes & Endocrinology among the best in the nation in recent years. - An academic appointment at the University of Connecticut is available and will be commensurate with level of training and experience. - Connecticut Children's Specialty Group, Inc. is a 150+ physician, multi-specialty pediatric group (medical and surgical) and a subsidiary of Connecticut Children's. - Position offers competitive salary with a comprehensive benefits package.
