The HR & Finance Transformation department (&#8LEAP&#8) has an exciting opportunity for an experienced project manager to lead the Integration, data staging and IT Legacy Retrofit work streams for a multi-pillar HCM and Financials cloud program. The role is critical to successful realization of value from the HR and Finance Transformation by providing project leadership which ensures that the project is deployed on time, within budget and meets quality expectations.
The Project Manager will work under the direction of Transformation Program Manager and in partnership with the LEAP IT Technical Lead, LEAP Architect and systems implementation vendor technical leads to manage delivery of their component of the program.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Project Leadership
Provide day-to-day project leadership following structured SDLC methodologies throughout the project lifecycle including project definition and approval, project plan development, project execution, progress monitoring, formal project closing and value realization. Motivate the project team to achieve results, resolve conflicts, and escalate issues as needed.

  • Plan and lead integration, data staging and IT retrofit delivery effort and cadence.
  • Manage scope, schedule and execution status against the project plan.

> Coordinate work across all parties in the plan for planning, design, build, test and deployment for each technical deliverable.
> Identify and manage dependencies for the plan.
> Run regular status calls.
> Participate on SI Technology / Data / Integration calls and updates.
> Participate on IT delivery team calls and updates as needed.
>> Consolidate IT and vendors’ delivery status and report to PMO, LEAP Tech Lead, IT leadership and business application owner.
>> Facilitate regular architectural / solution reviews with Technical Lead and Architect as part of the quality review and governance process.
>> Coordinate Technical Design (TDD) reviews and acceptance process with PMO and functional / technical leads.
>> Work and update technical risks in RAID log with owners.
Qualifications:

  • Required

> 5+ years of experience leading IT enterprise application projects.
> Strong technical project management skills including delivery oversight of vendors, scope schedule and resource management, and establishment and execution of a detailed plan.
> Deep knowledge of full life-cycle systems implementation methodology, particularly as it relates to integrations and data conversion processes.
> General knowledge of accounting and HR processes
> Strong communication skills
> BS or BA in computer science, engineering, or related discipline

  • Desired

> Experience implementing Oracle Cloud HCM, Taleo and/or Netsuite Financials desired
> PMP or equivalent certification
